RRSGA Membership Information

The Ridgeview Ranch Senior Golf Association (RRSGA) is a group of local senior citizens, minimum age of 55 years, who play golf year round for fun, companionship, relaxation, and friendly competition.

Yearly RRSGA Membership Dues

$20.00; After October  1, includes membership for all of next year.

 

RRSGA Application Form

Online at http://www.rrsga.org/.

1.       Click the Membership Form link.

2.       Print and complete the application.

3.       Bring your completed application, along with the membership fee (cash or check), to the golf course on the next day of play and join the group for the tournament.

Range balls are available at no cost for practice before the start of the day’s round.

Weekly Notification Requirement

To play in a tournament the signup procedure i :

Each member will receive an email to signup for the next tournament.  Follow the instructions on the email with your name, handicap and your email information.  You will receive an email back to confirm that your signup request has been received.

Weekly Tournament Fee

$40 to the Pro Shop and $5 cash for the prize money fund paid in the break room.  This must be paid by all players.

Additional Prize Competition (Optional)

·         A closest-to-the-hole prize competition on the par-three holes for $4. There are 3 divisions:  White Tee players are divided by handicaps into two groups: 0-15 and 16+ with a third group for the Forward Tee players.  The payout is based on the number of people that have entered. 

·         A hole-in-one prize competition on the par-three holes is currently free and currently has a payout for $1000.  This has the same 3 divisions as the closest to the hole contest.  

 

Handicap Requirements

·         Each new member is automatically entered into the Callaway flight for the first three rounds of RRSGA play.  A handicap and index is established and available for the next (fourth) round of RRSGA play.

 

Flights

Players are grouped into flights based on handicaps and the number of players scheduled that day.   The flights will have a maximum of 26 players.

 

Tournament Prize Distribution

·         After the end of the round of play, the scores are posted on a television monitor in the club house. 

 

·         The number flights, the number of places being paid and the amount being paid is determine from established prize distribution chart all of which is based on the number of players on that day.    

 

·         Prizes for placing in the tournament will be paid in cash the following week.

 

·         Prizes for the closest-to-the-pin are paid out in cash the same day of the tournament.  If necessary, the prizes are held until the recipients claim them.

 

·         A hole-in-one winner is paid the amount that has accumulated in the prize pot with a maximum limit of $1000.  The Treasurer issues a check in the amount to the winner.
